Lanolin Lubricant

Dy-Mark PROTECH® Lanolin Lubricant is a natural substance derived from sheep’s wool. It is non-toxic, biodegradable, non-evaporative and non-conductive. It provides long lasting lubrication and corrosion protection against moisture, salt and acids. It is safe to use on a variety of surfaces including metal, plastics, fibreglass, rubber and neoprene seals. Widely used in maritime applications, Lanolin Lubricant can be used to lubricate and protect surfaces and equipment exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Dy-Mark PROTECH® Lanolin Lubricant uses a Silicone free formulation.

  • Protects against corrosion and frees rusted parts

Dy-Mark PROTECH® Lanolin Lubricant has multiple uses in the maritime industry, but is useful in other applications where environmental conditions might degrade surfaces or affect equipment performance such as:

Preparation:  Do not use on energised equipment.  Shake can for at least 45 seconds AFTER the mixing ball begins to rattle.   Do not use on polycarbonate. Not for use on sensitive electronics.

Application:  Spray can in Upright position only. Spray onto clean, dry surfaces. Spray a light, even film directly onto surface to be lubricated and protected. After application Lanolin Lubricant may be polished with a dry cloth if required. Use extension tube for hard to reach areas. Vent the system before restoring power.  Repeat application if necessary.

Handy Tip:  Shake can occasionally during use.
